IN A MUSIC INDUSTRY MONOPOLIZED BY MALE VOICES, PLACING A CONSISTENT SPOTLIGHT ON WOMEN PRODUCERS, ENGINEERS, AND DJS IS CRUCIAL TO BROADENING OUR CREATIVE PALETTE.
The Creator’s Suite is an alliance of women producers, DJs, and audio engineers united to broadcast their collective voices through creative content, showcases, and workshops.
Since its inception in 2017, The Creator's Suite has held an annual micro-festival celebrating the expertise of outstanding women in music production by featuring one keynote producer presenting a master class, a demo session on electronic beatmaking, and a curated beat cypher highlighting a diverse group of on-the-verge women producers.

ABHITA AUSTIN
Creative Director
Abhita Austin is the Founder and Creative Director of The
Creator’s Suite, a community-driven platform for women in music production. Moved by the underrepresentation of women and girls in music technology, over the past 2 years, Abhita has worked diligently to create opportunities for this community to become more visible and vocal. Abhita collaborates with brands and industry thought leaders to program workshops, master classes, and networking meet-ups. She also consults music technology companies on best practices for marketing to women creatives within the music production space.
KAREN KIEVES
Marketing Consultant
Karen Kieves serves as our Strategic Marketing Consultant. Tenacious and passionate, Karen has more than 10 years of experience devising and executing marketing plans aimed at breaking artists, selling out tours, and engaging music fans. Her experience includes working across the US, Australia, and Asia markets, in a variety of roles including marketing strategy, digital marketing, product management, account direction (agency) and artist management. In addition, she has completed her Masters in Arts Management at the Australian Institute of Music.

Photographer
Laraib Ali is a gifted photographer and creative who has a passion for horticulture and herbology. With years of experience capturing performing artists, Laraib has developed a unique style of photography that speaks to the essence of her subjects.
